The Story
Logline
When a talkative stranger on an airplane asks the innocent question of "how many kids do you have," a reserved father and his independent teenage daughter struggle to give the “right” answer as they cope with grief from the recent passing of her sibling.
Synopsis
Father and daughter, Craig and Hannah, head off on a long soccer trip, dealing with the routine angst one goes through with air travel.
Left unsaid is each family member dealing with the loss of Harper...Hannah's sister. The travel tension comes to a head when Craig is forced to sit next to a chatty seatmate, Lucy...a woman who doesn't have the same view of “sharing” info about a loss that Craig does.
In an effort to cut the conversation short, his attempts to avoid the truth only lead to anger and feelings of betrayal from Hannah, eventually leading to a panic attack. Craig must fight through this to come up with the real answer he wants to tell...
