Du Nord Films is an independent production company based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. We craft cinematic experiences inspired by real moments –  from the tales that captured public imagination in newspapers and sparked deep conversations around family dinner tables.

History is found in the subtext of a conversation, a dream unfulfilled, a new relationship that gives new hope, or a love that defined generations. It's also found in the absurd, the mishaps that changed everything, and the laughter that got people through impossible times. These moments layer upon each other, their ripple effects impossible to map, their full impact unknowable—and in that beautiful complexity, we find endless stories to tell.

Our work is an invitation: to be curious, to feel deeply, to sit with the full range of human emotion—joy and heartbreak, courage and doubt, love and loss, and all that reminds us to connect with purpose.

Our creative signature:

• Grounded realism

• Deep character studies

• Stories based on true experiences
